Vintage Teto The Clown Marionette

Vintage 1950s "Teto, The Clown" marionette by the famed Hazelle's "Popular Marionettes" company of Kansas City, MO.

Teto's face, hands, and shoes are made of a rigid white plastic with fantastic painted and molded detailing. He is wearing a red and white polka dot jump suit, made of cotton. Black cotton string extends from his ears, back, and feet, to a red wood "patented airplane control" mechanism.

Condition:

Excellent condition. His plastic face, hands, and feet are free of any nicks or scratches, with just light surface wear. His clothing is clean, with no rips or tears. The strings are attached well, free of any knots, and function as they should. The only flaw to mention is that his ruffled collar is a bit loose.
