Vintage luxurious auburn brown suitcase, made by the Herkert & Meisel Trunk Co. of St. Louis, MO, circa 1940s. So stylish and sharp with its brass-tone hardware and reinforced corners. The case secures closed with 2 latches and a locking button. There are 6 round brass feet on the bottom of the case. There is an H&M tag, signifying the Herkert & Meisel manufacturer, beneath the handle.
Open the case up to find a clean and sleekly masculine interior, lined in a tough canvas-like material. The case opens a full 180 degrees and opens to a separator curtain with a large snap pocket on it on one side and an open bottom. Hiding beneath the separator curtain is a wardrobe-style section with a 4-tier metal and wood hanger. The interior is in excellent condition with some faint, unassuming stains here and there.
